An eventful night I should say. On the journey back, I wondered "What happpened?" No more enjoyment, just pure frustrations Haha. I no longer know where the truths lay. To my surprises, I no longer care. Sometimes, it hurts too much to drill on why. It is indeed simpler to live life with one eye closed. Life becomes simpler and joy aplenty.

Schoooooooooooooool is resuming its aggressive regime. Awwwwww.

Something to lighten the air and clear the clouds. A real funnnnnny interrogation. Lols..

Wish, blow and cut..
Happie belated Birthday to YS!

Okie, this is a post long overdue bcos of my laziness. Been judging between tuitions, gatherings, sleeps and prison break. I am simply tired but glad. I am down to my final 2 episodes of PB Season 3! Which means, I can sit back and relax, all geared up for Season 4. Can't wait, can't wait! This time, Scofield and Burrows are gonna haunt the company!

Anyways, the Usual 6 met out on 13th July for an advance birthday celebration at Raffles City's Shokudo. YS wasn't aware of our intention. But he met with our demands like sitting on the baby chair, climbing onto children slide at restaurant. Some pictures are attached.

Thursday, July 17, 2008 @ Mosaic Workshopsss.
My the other CCA, WSC Curl'08 is doing this huge mosaic mural at HortPark. They organized a mosaic workshop. So Eileeeeen and I volunteered for it. The opportunity of a lifetime, I could say!

The workshop was at level 3. When we were reached the workshop, the door attracted me. The instructor wrote the programmes available on the black door with chalks. Love it! Once we entered, artworks surrounded us. There are so many paintings of many varieties made using glass tiles. Just so pretty, man!!

The instructor taught us how to cut the tiles into smaller pieces, how to stick the pieces and the "to-do" and "not-to-do". And we got to exercise what we've learnt and our creativity. I did a rainbow and Eileen did sunflower. Seeing the instructor putting the pieces together is easy but doing it on your own is hard. I had a hard time with it man! I guess, perfection does come with practice sometimes. After which, we went on to cut more tiles to prepare for the actual event. Omg, cutting one small bag of tiles after another was tiring. Haha.

@ Little India Tour Part One.
So here we are.. Finally we go to Little India. However, Esther couldn't make it this time round. So we'll be going once more!! Hoooray.

Stepping into Little India is one of a kind experience. Flowers, gold and bright colours are everwhere. Instantaneously, we were transported out of Singapore. Little India miraculously carries us across the distance to India.

Our first stop was Komala's Vila. We had Poori, Bhatturi and Teh tarik! I love the Bhatturi. It was super huge! We could finish it. Ours was served deflated, but our neighbor's bhatturi was so blown up that I felt it look more like some fake rock in Chinese Garden. I love the Teh Tarik too. It was sweet but not too sweet! The composition is just nice. Yum! As for the poori, I did not know how to appreciate it sia. Haha.

Van and me

After our splendid meal, we walked along lanes and lanes of shops selling interesting stuffs. There're real great bargains there. Denise and Van got a waist pouch each at $6 only. There are so many bangles that I wish I camp there and watch them sparkles at night. Haha. Then, we came across some interesting building. The one in pink is actually a chinese temple. Weird right? How come there is a Chinese temple there? I still haven't figure it out.

For our last stop, we went to Mustafa Center. It was not my first time there. Nonetheless, I never fail to enjoy myself in the one-stop shopping mall! To end our day, we got to race against the rain so that we could make it safely to the MRT station before rain poured. We walked, dodged, ran and... we managed to make it! But we were so flustered that we took the wrong train. Haha.

An old friend called.
And changed the fate of my piggy bank...

Haha. Anyway, Ah Seow called on Thursday. It happened that work on Thursday was pushed to the coming week. So decided to meet my OLD friend! The one who chiong movie with me when I was unemployed. It has been a long while since I last met him!

Seow was different this time round. In the past, we always had to decide for very long what we should do. Thursday, he was so firm on going to look at the flyer. Great job, BOss. Seow got kinda lost and with my LU-CHI-ness, he got even more lost. What's more, the crazy ERP landed us in a situation beyond redemption! So we walked and walked and finally we reached the Singapore Flyer... The World's Largest Observation Wheel..

Upon entering the capsule...

The views...

This is power! The capsule can stay firmly in mid air!

See this.. This will be part of the F1 track. Wish I will be there...

I have to say, the first 10 minutes in the capsule was exciting. With the island under me, I was feeling superb and amazed. After the 10 minutes, boredom started to kick in. Seow also started to get bored too. With the Integrated Resort and Marina Bay still under construction, there is nothing much amazing to view. I won't say pricing at $29.50 is definitely not worth every bit. Maybe like Esther said, probably couples would enjoy the experience. Like I was teasing CG who has 4 more tickets left, I asked him to bring girl up and KISS her. Lol I just realized there are camera monitoring the capsule. Mmmm, how to kiss in private?

This is like the kinda experience where you've to experience once and that's it. In my opinion, I would prefer the traditional Ferris Wheel. You can stick your legs out of the capsule and cool breeze will hit against your legs. What's more the capsule will swing slightly due to the wind! I love it!

This ride slims my piggy bank! But it is great to meet up with Seow who really becomes an expert with crapping. I laughed so much. Anyway, dunno if Seow will be reading this. Jia you anyway!=)

Updating In Progress!!

On Tuesday, we went to the "House of Mahjong Kings and Queens"!! It was crazy! I never experience such mahjong skills before. Sherlyn and I went to Aj's house for mahjong! She told me that she lost alot to AJ's sister during the Chinese New Year.

In the end....

AJ's brother is the MJ King! He won 19 big chips and 11 small ones. He kept "HU" until my jaws dropped and my eyes spelt out "WHAT THE HELL! AGAIN?". There was one round where he deliberately leaked some water. Each time he could "Pong", he didn't do it. But the next potential "pong" got bigger! In the end, no one wins for that round! Real scary sia!

AJ's luck was not bad too. At least he managed to maintain his chips. I think if he got distracted by the television, he could earn more lo! lOL. Probably, there were pretty gals on TV! =P Sheryln fared better than me. We, gals, started off with no win. She broke the curse. After her friend called her, she managed to win quite abit!

I was the big loser! Basically, I was losing all the way! Until the final hour, I managed to win 3 rounds. It was a big relief to everyone! At a point of time, I was so broke! I wouldn't paid my debt and AJ had to loan me chips.. When the session ended, minus my debt to AJ, I managed to redeem my pride with one pathetic small chip! Haha. What can I say?? Luckily we were not doing serious gambling! Lol. But I don't mind playing again!! But AJ has to work soon. Hopefully, we can have another sooooon. Haha.

After which, I met up with SABBY!! It has been half a year since I last met her! So glad that we met up man!! Felt so refreshed after catching up with her. We caught "Sex and the City". The show was quite good (contrary to my expectations). The conversations are witty, and the bags and clothings are so prettty!

Sab gave me a surprise! She got me a mini mermaid doll! She asked her BF to go to arcade to fish it. I am seriously touched! I love SAb!=)

The movie ended quite late. I almost missed the last bus. I ran and ran! I was so lucky that the bus driver stopped some distance from the bus stop and let me alighted. My sister messaged me and asked me to inform her when I was reaching home. She would wait for me at the bus stop. I replied her "crazy, you go to sleep". She didn't reply me, so I thought she was sleeping. When I alighted from the bus, I was real surprised to see her.

Happiness can be simple! We just need to look at the right place! I got all the happiness in this blessful Tuesday! And many more days to come!

More updates coming soon!!

Been "missing in action" for quite a long time. Nothing much to update really. Haha. Not much pictures taken these days. Decided to show something here so this blog becomes inactive. Sooo, the theme for this post is....

What I am lovin' these days!

LOVE NO.1 "mahjong"

I totally sux at this game. So many rules and styles, how to remember sia. Nonetheless, I am still loving it. I guess the tiles action is addictive! So is the "Pong! Pong! Pong!".

LOVE NO.2 "cupcakes"

How many of us here love Cupcakes?? Hand up!! Me, me, me!! I love mine with extra chocolate chips, M&M chocolate, minus the illness!

LOVE NO.3 "rachael ray"

I just love this bubbly lady! Yesh, I know people do sing to their plants and pets, but to food?? And yesh yesh, she does! Cool! It is quite hilarious to watch her cook and sing to the chicken sizzling in the pan with extra-virgin olive oil. And, do you know her ingredients hang out and make out too? Lol. Okies. I am a potential auntie but I don't care! I wonder how I am going to survive my days without Rachael Ray when school starts. Cos it is kinda unbearable when I can't sit in front of the TV set at 12pm.

LOVE NO.4 "superheroes"

Caught "The Incredible Hulk" with Shuting. Cool Cooooool coooool!!! What's more The Incredible Hulk is GREEN! It is a July jam-packed with Superheroes! With "The Dark Knight" and "Hellboy 2" coming up, it is exhilarating July indeed!!

Okies.. Tat's it for now. I guess more exciting stuffs will be coming up! Denise's 21st birthday party (I CAN't WAIT!), gatherings and movies! Hope there will be more pictures to post! Turing in now after a TERRIBLE and exhausting subject registration. Hope that XX's brother and YYY's mum will get better. Hope that those unwell will get well soon. Lastly, thank you to certain person for the faith in me. I am truly touched!
